SOLA ACADEMY - POSTGRADUATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
General Outline of the Module Programme
Module I:
1 & 1 & 1/2 days course: on basics in Laser dentistry. Theoretical information about
physics, safety, tissue-interactions and clinical indications
Module II
2 & 1/2 days course: based on Module I, focusing on the clinical point of view on
the various indications in the field of Laser dentistry. Video-transmission of various
therapies, hands-on training. In a separate session participants are asked to present
own cases and therapy-plans.
Diploma of the SOLA Academy:
Having attended Module I and Module II as well as having completed the practical
requirements of the curriculum, participants are welcome to carry out the examination
(multiple choice, presentation of the documentation of practical cases, collegial
discussion on own cases) to achieve the Diploma of SOLA Academy. Examinations will
be held at all ESOLA congresses, symposia and conferences. (see schedule on website
or in “calendar of events” in JOLA)
Module III:
5 days course: advanced education on laser dentistry in small groups, supervised
patient treatment, special programs performed in various institutions co-operating
with the Vienna University. Approach to the latest research programs.
Registration requirements: Diploma of ESOLA Academy (Module I and II) Please note
that Module III Educational Course is available only in University of Vieanna /Austria
.
Master Degree of the ESOLA Academy :
Having passed the final exam, held as a lecture of approximately 25-30 minutes on
your special field of interest in laser dentistry, entitle the candidate to be affiliated
to the ESOLA Academy and invited as a main lecturer to the educational courses.
You are also welcome to join the ESOLA Academy Alumni Study Club. The new masters
will be officially introduced to the society at the ESOLA congress.
